Artist IDs

An artist ID tells the stores exactly which artist page a release belongs to, so it never lands on someone else with the same name.

Adding an artist’s IDs

1. On the release, click the artist’s tag. Their profile panel opens.
2. Paste the link to the artist’s Spotify page and their Apple Music page. Each link turns into the artist ID automatically and a ✓ appears.
3. If the artist has no profile yet, tick New to stores so a new one is created.
4. Click Done. A small green dot on the tag shows the profile is set.

Finding the links

• Spotify: open the artist page, choose Share, then Copy link to artist.
• Apple Music: open the artist page, choose Share, then Copy Link.
